this week's hip-hop charts, UGK's Pimp C represents Houston, Gnarls Barkley holds their ground, and Yung Joc keeps it movin.'
Debuting on the hip-hop charts this week is Pimp C, taking over the competition at No. 3. The newest addition to the Houston rap movement is back with his sophomore LP Pimpalation, which has pushed out a first week number of 87,500 units.
Still holding on the top rank this week is Gnarls Barkley, not moving an inch at No. 5 this week. Gnarls have been doing exceptionally well with St. Elsewhere, stabilizing their sales with 56,000 sold this week, compared to a similar 55,900 last week. After 10 weeks on the go, Cee-lo Green and Danger Mouse go gold at 508,400 copies.
Sticking to the top three ranking this week is Yung Joc even though he moved down one slot to No. 12. After his explosive single, "It's Going Down," heated up the billboards and swept across the nation thorough enough to steal the number one spot, the ATLien has followed up with "I Know You See It." The video for the new single is already in top video rotation, and Yung Joc City has moved its total units to 407,500. The week-in total for Joc reads off at 42,300.
Debuting on the charts at No. 25 this week is Dipset's JR Writer. The Harlemite from 145th, who calls himself "the Dominican Prince," has hit the block this week with History in the Making. The LP from "the writer of writers" features popular names such as members 40 Cal, Jim Jones, Hell Rell, Nicole Wray, and Paul Wall, but has bricked on the charts with 30,800 discs sold.
Up next is Busta Rhymes, coming in at No. 26 this week. After 4 weeks on the charts, The Big Bang is on its way to gold stat, sitting at 401,500. The Rick James-featured "In The Ghetto" is beginning to take its course on the radio, as a video for "New York Shit" has begun to circulate. This week, Busta has moved 29,000 CDs.
Slipping nine seats below is Ice Cube, taking the No. 35 spot this week. Laugh Now, Cry Later has bagged a total of 332,400 units after 5 weeks on the charts, with the 7-day cycle ending at 22,000.
One step below is Chamillionaire, falling eight positions on the charts to land at No. 36. Cha has banged out 21,400 discs this week, bringing The Sound of Revenge to 1,100,400 in total.
Falling fourteen slots to No. 52 this week is T.I. The rapper from Hotlanta has taken a stumble from his No. 38 seat last week, but has still banged it out with 16,500 copies this week. To date, King has pushed out a very successful 1,400,300 CDs.
Jumping up eighteen positions on the hip-hop charts this week is Don Omar, stepping up to No. 57 this week. After his seat at No. 75 last week, the Puerto Rican reggaeton master has hit the competition scene once again, bangin' it out with 15,300 discs sold this week-a far cry from 12,500 last week. The King of Kings, which is firing off with the Juelz Santana-featured "Conteo," has totaled off 490,100 units.
Lastly, Hector Bambino exits the discotek, Shawnna blocks the music, Field Mob nosedives, and Sean Paul makes a comeback. El Father is slipping this week, falling to No. 64 this week. After losing his spot at No. 55 last week, the reggaeton star has fallen below the line, yet maintaining a spot on the hip-hop charts with 14,400 discs sold this week. After 3 weeks, Los Rompe Discotekas has bricked at 56,300.

Buahahahahahahaha W y Y han vendido 200,000 mas pero cuanto tiempo han estado en el mercado ya 8 meses con su disco pal mundo. Y en otro mes mas King of Kings va sobrepasar en 3 meses lo que tu duo favorito no hiso en 8 meses.
