Bueno al paso que se esta piratiando los cd de reggaeton esta bien dificil, pero no es imposible pero al millon no creo puede llegar a 500 mil por lo menos
“Barrio Fino”: The Highest Latin Record sales in Two Years
RIAA honors Daddy Yankee Five gold and platinum albums for his album Barrio Fino, the largest award in the history of reggaeton music.
Daddy Yankee’s Barrio Fino has joined the ranks of the Recording Industry Association of America’s (RIAA) who has earned Gold and Platinum awards for sales over 500,000 copies.
“Barrio Fino is the first reggeaton album to reach 800,000 copies sold, said Gustavo Lopez, Universal Music executive. “We are very proud to be able to work with Daddy Yankee in promoting Barrio Fino. Yankee, by his own efforts, has proven to be a creative, unique and innovative artist. Now we are working hard to place this record among the most preferred throughout the entire World”, the Universal executive emphasized.
On his behalf, Daddy Yankee expressed, “I am very happy with the entire acceptance Barrio Fino has had. We have worked very hard and for many years to highlight the reggeatón gender and thank God we are seeing the results of our efforts. I want to share this success with all the people who have supported me along the way, specially my fans, and my staff at Los Cangris. I also want to thank Universal for their commitment to this production, which has permitted us to reach so many different markets.
There’s no stopping the creator of “Gasolina”. Recently he filmed “Lo que paso, paso” video clip and soon he will begin the promotion of his latest video “Salud y vida”. He is also staring in the lead part of “Straight from the Barrio”, his first cinematographic project that started to film this month in the city of Caguas, Puerto Rico, and is expected be finished by the end of this year.
Daddy Yankee, the International Tour
Universal Music announced a comprehensive plan to continue introducing Barrio Fino in other markets. According to Gustavo López, “this will be a very comprehensive plan because without doubt, Daddy Yankee is the most awaited Latin artist of his time”.
López explained that during the month of February Barrio Fino was launched in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, México, Peru, Venezuela, Spain and other parts of Central America.
During the end of March, Yankee will be conducting a promotional tour to Spain, where “Gasolina” is among the top 20 preferred songs among the public. Italy France and Germany will be the next stop coinciding with the launching of the record in those countries as well. In April they will continue their tour to Mexico México, Central, and South America.
Barrio Fino #1 in Billboard
The success of Barrio Fino continues to strengthen its position and is again #1 on the list of Billboard Top Latin Albums. It has maintained itself in the Top 20 Latino albums for 33 consecutive weeks. Presently, “Gasolina” is among the top 5 most requested musical videos on MTV2.
Daddy Yankee’s Barrio Fino was nominated Reggaeton Album of the Year of the Billboard Latin Music Award 2005. The awards ceremony will take place in Miami on April 28, 2005 and will be produced and televised by the Telemundo Network.
Bueno toda produccion vende mucho dependiendo de la promocion que se le de. Daddy Yankee vendio mucho entre estados unidos por pegar su cancion "Gasolina" y tambien vendio entre los americanos ya que sabe ingles y a podido comunicarse entre las estaciones de radio en ingles. De esa manera fue que Daddy Yankee pudo pegar y pudo vender tantas copias de Barrio Fino.
Pero no creo que Mas Flow 2 valla a vender 1 millon, Tal vez pase de 500,000 mil copias pero llegar al millon es bien difisil, especialmente este siendo un disco de various artists.
Mas Flow 2 no llega a 500 mil copies, esta super piratiado y la promocion internacional esta super pobre, o sea, van a tener k inventarse un forma para sakarle ventas a ese Cd....
miren segun luny tunes ke mas flow 2 tenia 300,000 mil copias PRE-VENDIDAS.. significa ke antes ke salga el cd ya habian vendido esa cantidad de cds.. ahora cuando la gente se entere de este cd .... todos lo van a kerer comprar pok viene del MAS FLOW vol.1.. el cd ke pa mi cambio EL reggeaton totalmente.. nuevas pistas.. nuevo ritmo.. y lo mas importante.. sako el reggeton Internacionalmente....... ke opinan?
